The Office of Graduate Student Assistantships and Fellowships has implemented a new online automated graduate awards system. This system will replace the paper Assistantship and Fellowship recommendation and reply forms we have long used for graduate student awards. With this system, Departments will be able to enter awards into Banner Workflow, and approvals for Department Chairs and awarding offices will be routed electronically. Awardees will receive award details by email and will also be able to accept or decline the offers online through GWeb.
Use of the online system will be mandatory for awards beginning 2015-16 (including Summer 2015 awards), with the exception of sponsored research awards, which will be moving to the system soon.
All faculty and staff, including Chairs, who are now involved in the approvals for the old paper form should attend training and ensure that they have Banner access before the system goes live
